What Should I Expect?

Worship Service

  • Attendees must be masked at all times during the worship service.

  • Attendees will be seated with their own household.

  • The services will begin promptly at 10 AM.

  • On communion Sundays, prepackaged communion elements will be available.

  • Tithing may be given through on-site drop-boxes or the online giving portal.

COVID-19 Safety Protocols 

Attendee Safety Requirements

  • Practice social distancing by maintaining a minimum distance of six feet to those around you.

  • Wear a mask, covering your mouth and nose, while onsite at Crossway. Children age 2 and younger are not required to wear a face mask.

  • Refrain from shaking hands, hugging, and other forms of physical contact.

  • Stay home when sick or with any flu-like symptoms, or if you or anyone in your party have experienced COVID symptoms in the past 10 days, or have had close contact with anyone who has tested positive, or is under suspicion of having COVID-19.

  

Additional Safety Measures

  • Hand sanitizing stations will be located in multiple, convenient locations.

  • Doors propped open to increase ventilation and reduce the need to touch entrances.

  • All water fountains and after-service coffee hour have been suspended.  You may bring personal water bottles.

Contact Tracing

Attendees who test positive for COVID-19 or experience symptoms within 48 hours of attending an in-person worship service should contact Crossway immediately via email at crossway.services@crosswaysfv.org. These attendees should follow CDC guidelines for self-quarantining and returning to health before registering for another in-person service at Crossway.

If an attendee tests positive for COVID-19:

All who attended the same service as someone testing positive for Covid 19 will be notified. The attendee who confirmed positive for COVID-19 and those who were in contact with the attendee will not be permitted to attend an in-person service until they have surpassed a 5-day symptom-free time period or have tested negative of COVID-19 in accordance with CDC guidelines.
 

Frequently Asked Questions 

1.    Will there still be a livestream of the worship service?

  • Yes, we will be livestreaming via Zoom for our 10am service for those who are unable to join us on-site.

2.    May I bring my children? Will there be Kid Venture or Nursery available?

  • Yes, you may bring your children. At this time, only Kid Venture is available on-site. Nursery aged children must stay with their parents at this time. We ask that families bringing children understand that all safety measures will apply to children as well. This includes social distancing, refraining from physical contact with other attendees, and wearing a face mask at all times (Children age 2 and younger are not required to wear a mask).

3.    Will there be singing?

  • Yes! Following public health recommendations for distancing and masks, we are looking forward to worshiping through music together.

4.     Will there be time to fellowship with one another?

  • We are looking forward to seeing each other face to face while wearing our masks. When interacting with others before, during, and after the service, please keep your masks on, practice social distancing, and refrain from physical contact. 

5.    What if I forget my face mask or I don't have one?

  • Crossway has a limited supply of face masks available for attendees who do not have one.

6.    What do I do if I become ill with COVID-19 symptoms within 48 hours of attending in person service at Crossway?
